Jim is an accomplished business leader and has spent most of his career leading businesses in the golf industry. In 2011, Jim completed the sale of Back 9 Links LLC where he had been founder and CEO. Back 9 Links is a Golf SaaS Enterprise Software Company that designed, developed and sells a state of the art member communication system to the golf industry. Jim also managed regional sales for Callaway Golf and other golf industry companies. Jim is the company founder and leader and has developed this process from concept to market.
Vice President of Technology
Tom has 15 years experience in the architecture, development, and build of accessible and technically valid solutions with a focus on good communications with stakeholders at all levels. Tom has a strong background in managing delivery infrastructure using the cloud, aligning business processes with ISO standards and managing a team utilizing proven processes and methodologies. He specializes in scalability of web technologies, accessible web and user experience design, e-learning interoperability, cloud SaaS delivery, and data protection and privacy.
Vice President of Product Development
Andy has spent over 30 years in the golf industry and has spent time managing sales for Callaway Golf and Paramount Apparel. In between, Andy founded and developed the Back 9 USA lifestyle brand and sold it in 2017. Andy played collegiate golf for University of South Florida and has had a keen interest in golf instruction his whole life. The combination of golf game knowledge and experience with golf industry knowledge and experience make this role a perfect fit. Andy is responsible for implementing the programs and the processes for IKONIK Golf and delivering these to the customer base.

Mike literally grew up in the game of golf with his dad a life-member of the PGA of America. As a golf industry veteran, Mike has spent his entire career in sports business, from managing professional tournaments on both the Champions and LPGA Tours, to developing the player endorsement and sports marketing programs for Callaway Golf Company to his current role managing both golf and rugby sports marketing and sponsorship investments for UL.

Anthony Cotroneo is a Partner in the Business Finance Department, the Private Equity Practice Group, the Franchising, Distribution and Dealership Practice Group, and the Construction Law Practice Group and is Co-Chair of the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Group. He is also a member of the firm’s Management Committee which is responsible for general oversight and management of the firm. His business law practice includes mergers, acquisitions, sales, and spin offs. As the Chair of the Firm’s Private Equity Practice Group, he represents Private Equity Firms, Angel Investors, and Issuers in Private Equity transactions, including assisting in defining the rights and preferences of securities, developing capital structures and deal structures for start-up and growth stage companies.
As the Chair of the firm’s Franchising Distribution and Dealership Practice Group, Mr. Cotroneo has assisted Franchisors and Franchisees in the preparation and review of Uniform Franchise Offering Circulars (UFOC) and Franchise Agreements. He also provides counsel to regional and national Distributors and Dealers in all activities, including preparing agreements and implementing dealer and distributor systems.
Advisor - BusinessDavid has 23 years of building and investing in over 25 businesses across multiple categories where his primary focus has been in technology, digital commerce, media and secondary market strategies for premium brands. He has led most businesses from idea through to funding, operations, growth and exit while creating jobs and positively changing the lives of the individuals he has served and worked with. David is the founder of Pure WRX, Callaway Golf Pre-Owned, Conn’s, and Coro Health.
Advisor - BusinessFrom 2009-2013 Michael was VP of Strategic Alliances at Juniper Networks where he was responsible for their global system integrator business. An experienced technology industry veteran, he spent 13 years with IBM in a variety of sales and marketing positions and served as CEO and other executive roles at several start-ups that successfully raised $400M in funding. Michael received his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and resides in Austin, TX.

Advisor - BusinessEd is a retired division president and corporate officer of IBM. He is currently affiliated with American National Rubber, the Maine Audubon Society, Dendrite Corp., Mapics Inc., The Nature Conservancy-Maine Chapter and PhycoGen. Kfoury is the co-founder and president of Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust, as well as managing partner of Stony Batter Enterprises.
